For the past 40 years, the Florida Bakery has been a family owned and operated business. Located in the heart of West Tampa (where the Latin culture has flourished), Florida Bakery continues a Cuban style tradition that was brought here from the recipes of Cuba and Europe. We have a little bit of everything from our specialty Cuban hamburger sandwiches, to loads of pastries and fine international sweets. We also offer catering. We specialize in our Cuban style cakes that are beautifully decorated for all occasions: weddings, birthdays, sweet 15, baptism, specialty cakes, and more. All our cakes are 3 layers with tropical fruit fillings from guava, pineapple, vanilla custard, coconut to many other flavors. All our cakes are smothered with a special secret syrupy sauce that keeps our cakes very moist and delicious to the taste. And to top it off, it is smoothed out and decorated to your own imagination with our own delicious “meringue” fluffy marshmallow frosting. A new Asian bakery just opened in Orlando and it may look familiar because this is bakery 1908s we all love from sweet to savory they literally have it all. Their food menu is a bit bigger here with more dim s They have a drink menu with coffee, juices and tea which go perfect with everything they offer. I always leave here with the hapti to go back so make sure to add this spot to your list and don't forget to keep on exploring.
