The Portico is committed to enhancing the social, artistic and spiritual fabric of Tampa through: A Cafe with a Mission, Homeless Initiatives, Art and Silent Meditation.
Welcome to the Portico. We are a downtown gathering space committed to impacting homelessness and enhancing the social artistic and spiritual fabric of our city through important conversation connection and community change. You being here matters. All the proceeds from your event fees and food and beverage purchases go directly to our mission. We have a variety of unique spaces for all types of meetings and events with rooms that can handle four to four hundred people. You could host a conference in our community hall or a business meeting in our boardroom. Our historic Henderson Chapel host to weekday meditations is perfect for weddings too. The Portico cafe our cafe with a mission bridges people transitioning from homelessness addiction incarceration to job training employment ladders and connections to safe affordable housing. The food is fresh delicious made to order and our special Portico blend coffee is phenomenal.
