My name is Steven Nakatsu. I am the front desk at 4th Street Bowl. 4th Street Bowl is a family-owned bowling center located in downtown San Jose. My family has owned 4th Street Bowl for 20 years now. My parents were actually bowlers here in the middle of the 80s and they just saw a business opportunity and took it. We aim towards the more competitive side of bowling rather than the recreational. So therefore we don'turn off the lights and put on disco music. It's more of a well-lit atmosphere. Welcome any type of birthday parties, company events or any other social gathering. We do offer a big range of different leagues. We have leagues for kids, leagues for seniors, leagues for regular adults from beginners all the way through scratch advanced bowling. We host a PBA regional once a year and a collegiate tournament here once a year as well. We have flat screen TVs in between every pair of lanes alternating for any kind of sports that you would We have five regulation-sized pool tables and one snooker table and our prices are very comparable to other pool halls. We do have a pretty well-renowned pro shop for buying bowling balls, shoes, accessories, etc. It was previously owned by a famous bowler named Tony Reyes which unfortunately passed away last year. But there are plenty of great professional bowlers that do work in there that drill balls and have answered any questions for you when you go in there. There's Greg Thompson Jr. which is one of the greatest bowlers in this area and lots of others that work in there. We have excellent staff here. We take pride in keeping a well-maintained bowling alley. We have a very excellent restaurant. We're actually known for the restaurant, I would say even more than the bowling alley. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lots of our regulars that come here come for the food. Here at Forstree Bowl we just want everyone to have the best bowling experience that they could have.
