A popular coffee shop in downtown Knoxville is closing its doors for good. The owner of Pearl on Union confirmed to us this morning that coffee shop is permanently shut down. Just a month ago, they closed for maintenance. The owner, Sean Parrish, tells us instead of reopening, the plan is to focus on the safety of their employees and on the two other businesses they own.
