Hi, I'm Kevin, Blessini with EQ Heights Coffee in the Heights. We've been here since 2015, and so we're going to be three years old here in March of 2018. And this is actually my first full array into specialty coffee, but it's after a lifetime of desire to do it. While I was in New Orleans, I started working in corporate America and HR and legal field in the oil and gas business. And it took me 20 years of my career and it moved me to Houston halfway through. And it was a great career. I have nothing bad to say about my first career is what I say. It took me all over the world. It introduced me to different perspectives of coffee and tea throughout the world and how it's different and how it'so much a How we go seek out the local coffee houses to get a feel for what's happening in the scene there. And that's a great way to travel today is to find the local coffee shops and you get a real feel for what life'so I'm a resident here at the Heights and it was important to me to find the location here in the life in the Heights so that I would be a local business owner within the Heights. So we made sure that went to a local roaster and that's Java Pure right here in the gay roast just south of the Galleria. But they take it to a level more than just local roasting. They have direct farm purchase with all the coffees that we hire here. So they know the coffee farmers who are actually producing our coffee and the coffee that we serve as an espresso is our own coffee. It's made exclusively or it'sold exclusively through us and it's a Panamanian blend. It's a micro lot and it's a honey process which means that you leave a lot of the natural coffee fruit left on the bean through the roasting process. So you get a lot more of the terroir in the coffee than typically you would in mass production. Along with the local coffee and tea suppliers at Bays we actually when were opening source local crafts we had to do a lot of the tables that you see here that we purchased some felt trees from the Heights. We have a big communal table made out of an oak tree that was on 23rd Street. We have local musicians here Thursday and Saturday nights. And then And so we try to make it really community with the capital city not just community. I welcome all visitors and I love being in the Heights and local because I can communicate with people on a really truly local and personal level. If you're ever in the Heights or you're a local Heights resident please come join us for a cup of coffee or a spot of tea. We'd love to see you. This is great place. I mean this is the cool thing about the Heights. Yep. And We're going to take me to the next. Probably wine. So probably. Awesome. Yeah. Look guys you got to join us next time. And times after that I'mark Mackinac and Ernie President CEO. Code Mark Financial with my favorite realtor of the Heights. Don Beltrami from Beltrami Realty Group and hope you join us for a glass of wine next time. Cheers. Cheers. Yeah.
