Brown Bag Sub Shoppe

I'm here at the Brown Bag and I was on Avenue of Robert Dam with Dave Caffrelli, the owner. Dave's been here. What, 10 years Dave? Yeah, I'll tell your phone n And it's the go-to spot for everybody in Robert Dam, right? I'm glad they Yes, they do. It's great. They have great sandwiches, soup, salad. It's my family's go-to place for a quick meal. We love the bread. These are the best and your mom makes them. My mom does make them. Yeah. Family recipe. They're awesome. So you have to try them. So we just want to recognize Dave'small business. He works very hard with all of his businesses in the community. So Dave, why don't you tell us how you got started and what keeps you going? Okay, well, probably a starter for me when I was 15 years old. I started washing dishes at Femmelee's Ice Cream. I worked my way up through the system. I became a manager after about four years. And I got my start with managing of my restaurants and whatnot through Femmelee's and then Denny's. And then I ran my own diner. And then eventually we opened Rob X's up in a couple of different locations. We've been, I've been running a foundation for some people in the place. Yeah, it's great. I mean, parking lots always packed. So it's great. I'm happy for you. But you have a great surprise to tell us about, don't you? I do. So along with Marata's Pizza of Algin Street, we have also just our London's Pizza right next to the pilot on Brainsburg Road. Just past Shalma High School. And we are trying to get that all set up where we can implement some of our long bag. Favorite dishes on the pizza place. So that's been a project for us right now. I know we're in artsy. Get that. Hopefully I'll be running properly with another week or two. So we're going to have a grand opening. We will have a grand opening. We're not sure of the date yet, so stay tuned for that. Okay.
