Central Florida Cycles

Central Florida Cycles is a motorcycle service and repair shop located in Orlando. Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha and more.

Welcome to Central Florida Cycles. My name is Greg and I have loved motorcycles for as long as I can remember. In 2004 I moved to Orlando and attended the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in pursuit of a dream, the dream of opening my own shop. Since then, my wife and I have made Orlando our home and love being a part of this community. In 2010 that dream of mine became a reality. After being both a customer and employee working in different shops over the years I came to realize there is a better way of doing things. I have taken that and applied it to the way I operate CFC. What I have created is a local small business alternative to the big franchise dealers, with short wait times, fast service and an affordable service rate. Give us a call, we would love to help you out.

Hey Alex here and today I'm gonna show you the best place for you to ride a bike in central, Florida You're coming maybe to Orlando for a conference or a vacation at Disney World And you're wondering can I squeeze a ride when I'm down there? Where can I ride a bicycle and yes? There is a great place for you to ride many places But there is one in particular that is the best place and I'm gonna show you So you're staying at a hotel in the Disney area or international drive or maybe a vacation home in Kissimmee You can ride in those places and I even have a video where I show the area Disney World where you can ride and a few things you have to look for But it's not gonna be the best Experience riding over there. There is some traffic not much to see So I would only choose that option if you really have limited time to ride And you want to ride from your hotel? So maybe you can do that But if you really want to experience the best place to ride for me in the whole state of Florida Where most of the cyclists train and ride I would go to Clermont is located in the Lake County area and it's the best place for riding Clermont is the place where I will take my guests to ride. It's beautiful over there Drivers are used to having cyclists in the area. So it's safer for sure to ride there and You will find a bunch of hills. You'll find the wall There's Buck Hill Road where there's a series of hills or even Sugarloaf Mountain It's not actually a mountain, but it's a really long hill with a 13% inclination And it's actually the highest hill in Florida now There are three tips that I would First where to start your ride? Actually Clermont is not the best place to start your ride if you're staying in Orlando But Winter Gardens another town. It's next to Clermont and it's closer to Orlando about a 25-minute drive And it's a super beautiful Charming town with a bunch of coffee shops and restaurants It's a great place to start your ride because you have a bunch of free parking It's a great place to end your ride there because you can have a post Ride a lunch at a nice restaurant And it's just a beautiful amazing place that everybody should visit Now the best part of it is that there is the West Oran Trail That's a wide paved trail that goes right through the town and it will lead you straight to Clermont It's about a 10 mile ride from Winter Garden to Clermont So if you're staying in the Orlando area Kassemi celebration, Devonport, Champions Gate, you're not very far from downtown Winter Garden. So you can drive There and there's plenty of parking spots at downtown Winter Garden Or you can even get an Uber XL and fit your bike in there and it will take you there It will be a 20 25-minute maxim There's a farmers market every Saturday morning. So it's really nice You should check Winter Garden out for sure. So the second tip is a quick one and it's when to ride so Florida has great weather all along the year and The best time of the year to ride where you will find the perfect weather is between October and May When the north is starting to get some snow is starting to get really chilly really cold the weather here is perfect It's not too hot you can ride and it doesn't rain a bunch The temperatures here are perfect. You are staying in the 60s 70s 80 degrees Fahrenheit. It doesn't rain much It's not so h m. 11 a. m. It gets really hot. It looks It's just really hot So ride really early in the morning. It'still cool is still good and Try not to ride at the end of the day because it'still hot It'still very h So I'm gonna narrow it down to two options First option is it if you want a more hilly ride with a lot of hills you want to experience sugarloaf mountain Buck Hill Road or the wall then when you leave Winter Garden on the West Orn trail you're heading west You're the Western Trail is going to take you right to Hancock Road when you reach to Hancock Road You're gonna continue right on Hancock Road heading north and There you will find the hills and we have a bunch of routes in the area where you can ride The second option if you want a flatter ride You don't want so much challenge But you still want to have a nice ride and a beautiful view then you leave Winter Garden on the West Orn Trail and instead of turning right on Hancock Road You cross Hancock Road continue on the West Orn trail and it will lead you right to Lake Minyola It's a beautiful spot beautiful Lake You can do a few loops around there and there are a bunch of events that happen there during the weekends Even the Great Floridian triathlon is done over there And it's just amazing a beautiful place for you to check out and do a few loops And even if there's a bike shop called Epic Cycles and they have a nice coffee shop inside the bike shop So it's amazing place to do a stop have a coffee do a few more loops In Lake Minyola, and then you can head back to Winter Garden. So this is pretty much it. I hope this video Helped I'm gonna leave in the description more information about bike routes and bike rentals So no more excuses not to ride your bike when you come to visit Mickey Mouse. That's it. See ya You
