Welcome to Body Parts USA instructional videos. Today we are going to demonstrate how to assemble and mount our headlight faring for Harley Davidson Touring and Softail models. Our fiberglass farings are handmade in the USA and built strong using three layers of premi The faring shown in the video starts at only $319. This includes mounting hardware and a windshield as pictured. The faring will come delivered with the inner and outer faring as well as the windshield and mounting brackets. The first step in the mounting process involves taking the inner and outer faring apart in order to gain access to the interior of the faring. Simply unscrew all the bolts holding the inner and outer faring together. When you are done, simply take the first bracket and align it to its designated mounting spot located on the interior of the inner faring. Carefully bolt on each bracket making sure the holes of the faring are perfectly aligned with the brackets. Once you properly mounted the brackets to the inner faring, you are now ready to bolt them back together. Carefully screw both pieces back together. Place the windshield in its designated socket and prepare it for the next step by aligning it to its designated mounting holes. Once this is done, simply bolt it onto the faring as shown. Start by the outer most hole, then bolt the center hole and work your way through the rest. Your faring is now fully assembled and ready to be mocked up on your bike. Place the lower end of the brackets on the lower bolts of the motorcycle and gently pivot the unit forward. Once you are able to align the faring's bracket to the motorcycle's hardware, you are ready to tighten everything up. Congratulations! Your new faring is now mounted to your Harley. You may opt to leave it in its original primer matte color or paint it. It will look great either way. Check out these few pictures of our farings on our customers' bikes.
