Noise Cycles

custom motorcycle fabrication, motorcycle parts and accessories design, resource and manufacturing, apparel

A record of the delightful piece they're going to play this evening. My name is Scott Jones. I run noise cycles in Santa Ana, California. Building bikes was probably a little over nine years ago. I was framing houses coming home and where I live was right down the street from Chica Custom Cycles. Japanese builder in Huntington Beach, California. I started making it a daily routine of stopping by there on the way home because I got off early and just hanging out and watching and got the job from there. It really is just something to do. It wasn't meant to be a business at all. It was never that thought. It was just have fun, make a little extra money after I worked on motorcycles all day. The trike is for my mom and my stepdad. My mom's always been in the motorcycles. I still have her helmet before I was even born. My stepdad was never really in the motorcycles. Even watching me grow up riding dirt bikes and street bikes and whatnot. He just never had a thing. They decided to get a trike. I guess he feels a little bit more safe and more in control of a trike than a regular motorcycle or a regular two wheels. So they asked me to build a trike and I just kept asking, are you for sure? Are you for sure? You really want a trike? And they were My Ariam sent you a bunch of pictures, picked out which style and she nailed it on a 70s bike. It had a wooden crate on the back and I just took the overall geometry of the bike and the stance and went from there. But I'm hoping I can build more bikes, a lot more parts. I really want to do a whole line of cast parts and just keep the whole skinny cycles thing that I tried to, I led with. And I just want to keep that going and split lanes and go fast.
