Join us today for part two of Trailers for Gold Wings and the results of our poll. This is Den with D2 Destinations. We're out for another ride today and I thought And follow up to the trailer video that we posted last time. That was meant to generate a lot of discussion in which it did. And one of You're There's no information, blah, blah, blah. I'm And believe me, we got a lot of responses on that. And I think you're going to enjoy the results. There is everything on that list from A to Z. I'm going to go through that in a studio shoot and reveal the most popular trailer of the entire poll that we took. And a surprising second runner that a lot of Particularly if you're new to Gold Wing touring. So stay tuned for that and we're going to come up with those results back in the studio for you. I just want to go through all of the results of the trailer video that we shot last time. And I just want to go down the list here on the popularity of the different trailers. We had everything, it seems, represented from Dart to the Time Out Camper. A few of you really Those are rather expensive, about $5,800 or so. You can probably find maybe a better deal on a used one somewhere, but that was very, very popular if you're into the camping. There's the Lug & Roll, Piggyback, Champion Colorado, Spider, Hanigan, and the Inline. The Inline I thought was rather interesting. It only weighs 85 pounds, but you can put 100 pounds into it and it tows So good comments on that one from Also, now with the higher percentages of the vote, at 5% was the Compact Camp. The Tailwind came in at 5% of the vote. And at 11% we have the Escapade. And those typically run around $2,000 to $3,000. I'm sure you might be able to find a deal on a used one of those at some point. At 15%, this is the surprising one. This is n And you can get these for about $650, brand new. And they weigh about 170 pounds. So not a lot of weight tow around. But by far, the n That's right. Everybody loves the Bush Tech. I checked online and for about $1,800 to $3,000 or a little more, you can get one used. They have several different models. So if you go for the new ones, they range anywhere from $4,400 up to $6,500. So one gentleman who shared his information on his Bush Tech said, it's a 1998. He estimates he's has well over 100,000 miles on that trailer. And the only thing he's ever done is he changed out the bearings and a couple sets of tires. In the video when I was on the motorcycle, I said, Bushings, that was a mistake. He changed out the bearings and tires and that's it. So high quality trailer, a little lighter from the Escapade from what I've heard. So that's the results of our poll and I hope you enjoyed that. And if you're in the market for a trailer, go on out and take a look at all these for camping. You've got the Timeout Camper and the Compact Camp. So good luck in your search and thank you all so much for sharing. That really means a lot to our video. And if you would just hit the If you're not subscribed, please go ahead and subscribe. And we're going to get back on the bike and finish this one out and onto another video. Thanks for coming along with the ride today, guys. I enjoy riding the Goldwing and talking to Now we're going to talk more about those Goldwing trailers. Yes, indeed, by far out of our poll, the n The BushTech wins by a wide margin. Actually, they are so light, they are so durable, and the Escapade, that came in the second with the premi The only downside to that particular trailer is it's a little heavier. So I've heard. But if you're into long distance touring and you want the lightest, best trailer, according to our polls, well, you want to go ahead and get yourself a BushTech. Because they say it'll track through the corners You can take a bunch of things with you, use it for grocery shopping or camping or whatever else is on the list. It's just a fantastic, fantastic trailer. Now there were a lot of other mentions for great trailers. And what you want to do is take a look at some of the more inexpensive trailers. If you don't want to invest a lot of money, Harbor Freight came through. And I think it's Northern Tools too, with a $500 to $650 trailer that has decent quality. And some of the guys just swear by it. They just don't want to spend all the extra money to get into a BushTech. There's the Gold Wing. So those are your results. Let me know what But apparently you can't go wrong with a BushTech. One guy, he said that he's had his since 1998 and doesn't even really know how many thousands and thousands of miles he's put on. He guesses over 100,000. And all he's done is really replaced the bushings and the tires. So there you go. There's your results. Thanks for coming along with us. This is Den with D2 Destinations.
