station. Thank you. This weekend is the final sugar rush for a longtime Tulsa candy shop. The owners of Sweet Tooth Candy and Gift Company are retiring to the stores closing after 30 years. News on six is Meredith McCown brings us the story. Candies of all different shapes, colors and flavors line the shelves in this beloved store for the last time. It's just kind of heartwarming to know that they're they enjoyed the store so much. Whether you're craving chocolate truffles or candy that'sweet or sour, you're sure to find it at Sweet Tooth. You can also find things Jeff Darby owns the shop with his wife Janet. He says customers have been stopping in all week to get their last treat fix. But for many, it was about the people behind the counter. The biggest thing is the people that we've been able to meet that come in and year after year. Tomorrow is the last day and most items are on sale. Darby says the past week has been full of stories from people following them when they moved locations to those who came as kids and then brought their kids and grandkids. You just don'think about that when you're in business and running around and serving people, but they really do appreciate the fact that we've been here. Darby says with their extended time, he and Janet plan to explore more of their own city.
