I discovered sweet berries a while ago and I love sweet berries and what with Jane? Jane thanks for having us here. Tell us about sweet berries. Sweet berries is a locally owned and operated restaurant. It was started by my family and my sister Janice and I operate the one here in Gainesville. Yes, let's talk about the food. We have great grilled and fresh deli sandwiches. We have salads, hot dogs, soups, wraps, and of course frozen custard ice cream. You use a lot of local vendors don't you? We do. Our coffee comes from sweet water. We use Ardys Tempe, white apron catering, secret garden bakery. And vine gives you that marvelous salad. And the vine. What are some of the more popular items here? Well our grilled sandwiches are a sampling from around the country so we have a Kansas City roast beef. We have a New York Rubin. We have a Havana Cuban. We do our own version of the Monte Cristo. We have some vegetarian items We've got salads. Our Caribbean chicken salad is one of our most popular with citrus lime vinaigrette. And you have catering. We do catering yes. We do deli sandwich trays. We can do large salads, our sides. And you can have an ice cream social. You can if you have 50 people or more we'll bring our freezer out to you and serve up small sundaes. It's a great party. And of course the sweets at Sweetberry's. We have frozen custard ice cream. And frozen custard is different because it's. . . Frozen custard is a style of ice cream that has egg yoke in the mix and we make it fresh in our own machine several times a day. And different flavors too right? Yes we always have vanilla and chocolate. We have a flavor of the day and you can check our website for our flavor calendar. And you can get sundaes, you can get shakes. And you can get concrete. So delicious. The baked goods are awesome too. I love how you support local artists. We are very fortunate to have our walls covered in local art provided by the Gainesville Fine Art Association. And you can buy it or you can just look at it and love it. The art is for sale and they switch it out quarterly so there's always something new on our walls. Now you have a Facebook too. Yes we have Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and a website.
