My name is Kyle Thick. I'm a owner here at Empowerment Green. I specialize in selling organic vegan surf products. We're also a cafe. We have organic dairy ice cream, but we also have organic vegan ice cream. Which caters to those, which laksa does, and LRG. She's a vegan lifestyle. I'm not a vegan myself. I'm an Italian, but my partner is a vegan. She had a lot of difficulty fighting for a dedicated vegan dessert shop in town. So we just thought it was a good idea to start with a Gainesville, which has a pretty good vegan population here. It's kind of how Carver's made it started. Well, we have a vegan bakery, so we make cupcakes, cookies, brownies. We just started with cinnamon rolls. Whatever really my partner thinks of that might be delicious and vegan friendly. We also do special orders, cakes, cupcake orders for brains, parties, other events. We probably made over 150 different cupcakes. They can be viewed on our Facebook page. And besides being vegan, it's all really good So it just has something good for everybody. We wanted to do something that mattered for the community based on our lifestyle. A place This idea of working for ourselves, so we can be in charge of things that we make, the ethics that go to the products that we buy. So it's just a good dream.
