Sweet Action Ice Cream

You've caught Kari at Sweet Action Ice Cream, a neighborhood ice cream shop off of South Broadway. I'm here with one of the owners, Sam. So how did a hobby of making ice cream at home evolve into this shop where flavors change daily? We wanted to have a place in the neighborhood where we could come get ice cream and we've been making ice cream at home and we decided that we would take it up an auction and start making ice cream. And it's been a tremendous success. There was this gorgeous open garage door and if you drive by here at night you'll notice several people wind up eating their ice cream at home. And while many ingredients of ice cream are the same, what is it that sets Our ice cream is very simple. We make it with just milk, ice and sugar. And we add very simple ingredients to it. Some fruit, Just basic stuff so we try to be very clear. And there's two great flavors here of the Straynagans Whiskey and also the one ingredient from Copper Kettle Brewing Company. So I bet these have received some great feedback. Yeah, the Straynagans Whiskey has been one of our most popular flavors since the beginning and we use a Mexican chocolate style from Copper Kettle. It's just, it goes so well with ice cream. And there's also vegan and dairy free options. So it's really ice cream for anyone. So you're going to have to come check out Sweet Action Ice Cream.
