I want to start with a bold claim. You're not stuck with who you were yesterday. Second Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17 says, If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Not upgraded. Not patched. New. That means the old identity, shaped by sin, guilt, fear, shame, failure, doesn't get to call the shots anymore. God isn't flipping a house here. He's building a new one from the ground up. Old things have passed away. Let me name them. Old guilt, gone. Old condemnation, dismissed. Old identity, retired. Old bondage, broken. Behold, all things have become new. What shows up in its place? A new heart, soft, responsive, alive? A new purpose, bigger than your res A new direction, clear steps, even when the road curves. A new relationship with God. Real, steady, close. This isn't about waking up with perfect feelings, or never messing up again. It's about position. In Christ, I stand renewed, restored, accepted. That's a status change. Not a mood swing. Maybe you're thinking, but my past is loud. Sure. But it's not the narrator anymore. Your past does not get the final word. Christ does.
