The store name is a tribute to Vera Bradley, whose maiden name was Fox. Kathryn Bradley Wilson's sister, Barbara, started Vera Bradley Designs in 1982, naming the company after their mother. Kathryn and her long time friend, Caryl Donnellan started selling the Vera Bradley line in the mid 80's. First having trunk shows at Caryl's house, Kathryn then started The Cottage Show at Goodwood Museum & Gardens. That is where the business name 'The Cottage Collection" came into being. When an excellent retail space became available, Kathryn and her son Dillon Bradley-Brown, along with Caryl, opened The Grey Fox on September 1, 2005. And here we are today. The Grey Fox really does have something for everyone and is conveniently located in the Mid-town area. Come by and see what it’s all about!
