It's welcome to Derry feels much scarier than any other Stephen King media right now and that's because apart from Pennywise there's another clown hiding in plain sight. What if I told you the clown we've been seeing so far isn't Pennywise? It's his daughter, Periwinkle. Stay tuned so I can show all the evidence as to why I think this is. In welcome to Derry episode 3 titled Now You See It, the earliest image of this character was seen when Will Hanlon took an image that we never got to see until the final moments of the episode. The figure Will captures seems to be Pennywise, tall, thin, with that wide pointed brim silhouette. However, this figure seems almost different, it seems skinnier. You don't see Pennywise's bright makeup, you don't see a grin. What you see instead are those tiny reflective eyes staring back at Will through the darkness. I believe the thing that stuck out to me the most was the hair. Pennywise's hair is iconic, bright orange, curled outward at the sides, messy and puffed up But Periwinkle, her hair is nothing Periwinkle's hair is sharp, structured and almost weapon Even of curls, the hair forms into stiff upright points, almost This terrifying figure appears again in It, Welcome to Derry episode 4 when Will Hanlon looks through his telescope and sees the clown staring back at him right from behind the tree. This scene was genuinely horrifying because it's not acting in a way that Pennywise does, it's not taking on your worst fears or imitating any other creature, it's just stalking you, it just watches Will from episode 3 to 4 without making a move. It's here where I really started to believe that this wasn'the dancing clown that we all have come to know and love, it'something else, something worse. I strongly believe that the young clown we see in General Shaw's backstory at the start of episode 3 is the same clown that has been stalking Will Hanlon and the evidence is right in front of us. Not only is she holding those red iconic balloons, which isn't only important because Pennywise holds them, but because they've been a recurring theme in the show so far. She also very much possesses an eerily similar appearance to the clown we've been seeing so far. Now, I don't know about you, but in both images I'm seeing a striking resemblance in the hair and not just that, at the top of each point of hair we are seeing bell- To further nail in the point of evidence, I'm going to head over to the mid-season trailer which showed this same wig. Lily seems to be investigating something to do with Bob Grey, so what is this wig doing here? Is it Bob Grey's daughter's wig? Is she periwinkle? Okay, so in the end credits scenes of episode 3 you may notice something, but on rewatch you will notice a young periwinkle. Why specify a young periwinkle? I believe this is because we've seen the adult periwinkle, this is to differentiate. I can't specify why, but this mysterious woman that seems to help Lily Bainbridge in Juniper Hill a lot, rubs me the wrong way and I'm ass But let'see,
