2022 will hopefully be remembered as the year that the world emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic and committed to global recovery. High quality, open and disaggregated data, as well as timely analytics, are critical for informing policy and managing and mitigating challenges of such a massive scale. Through our partnerships with the Government of Indonesia and through the United Nations Global Pulse, the Australian Government supports evidence-based policymaking. We are pleased to see the Data Innovation Facility Pulse Lab Jakarta is well positioned to support the Government's aspiration to establish an open and unified data system. We also commend Pulse Lab Jakarta's efforts to strengthen the digital transformation agenda, especially in embedding the values of gender equality, disability and social inclusion and ensuring that as Indonesia develops, no one is left behind.
