I'm gonna save you so much time. You don't have to use all this sandpaper to prep a piece. You can actually paint without sanding. Use this prep cleaner instead. Spray it on your piece, then you're gonna wipe it off with a paper towel. If it's really dirty, yeah, This is the color Eucalyptus. I just grabbed a paintbrush. I'm gonna apply it because the paint is self-leveling. It's normally two coats. This piece I'm gonna do a little bit differently. I'm painting it really quickly because look what I'm gonna do next. I am going to grab a piece of sandpaper and I'm gonna distress the heck out of this thing. Why? Because it's already old and it's just gonna go right along with the piece. It's gonna give it a lot of character and a lot of fun. That wood grain is gonna come through. Next and very last step is the top. I'm going to protect this with Tuftop. This is a polyurethane. I'm gonna put two coats on it. Why? Because I'll probably be sitting drinks or lamps or whatever on this and I want to protect it.
