The born and raised Texan founder loved to bake, loved to sell, and wanted to change the world around her. Society Bakery is a true Dallas original. We believe in being old fashioned, yet innovative. We believe in the neighborhood. We believe a bakery should bake and decorate in-house AND with love. We believe if you follow your passion, it will show in your work. Society Bakery loves the community, loves to bake, decorate, and express ourselves creatively. Society Bakery believes in consistently top-notch quality cakes, cookies, and old fashioned treats such as brownies, crostatas, cupcakes, lemon squares, petit fours, and whoopie pies. We use the finest ingredients (Callebaut, Guittard, Hershey’s, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Real Butter). Society Bakery donates throughout the year to over 100 different charities, schools and non-profit organizations. We do not take a tax write off for these donations. Society Bakery believes that a business can be profitable and charitable at the same time. We are not “high society”; we give back to society. If somebody wanted to start a social enterprise, do something that you really believe in. Donate to groups that you really believe in because if you are passionate about whatever it is that you're doing, what your job, the charity, it will show and that's going to drive success.
