Confetti Makes It Special
The origin of Confetti dates back to the ancient Romans, who were the first to celebrate birthdays and marriages with confetti. Today, confetti can be found at every important celebration all around the world. Why? Confetti makes it special! Everything we do is inspired by this rich Italian heritage. Italians are famous for many things, but more than anything for enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Even their grandest culinary creations are based on a few simple ingredients, but we were most captivated by how the thousands of gelato (ice cream) shops, coffee bars, and sandwich shops have influenced the daily lives of people throughout Italy. Our vision is to bring a few of those simple pleasures to the United States. To help our friends and neighbors slow down and enjoy the special moments in life, even if that special moment is a quick getaway from the office for lunch or a snack.
Whey So what is gelato? Gelato is Italian ice cream and regular American ice cream is actually made with cream and it has about half the amount of fat that's regular American ice cream.
