We're in Riverside, California where our next stop comes highly recommended by many of the locals here They serve great cups of coffee, but they're taking their coffee game at new heights today. We're at lift coffee roasters My name is James O'Rear and I have found the best specialty coffee in Southern California, and I'm gonna share with you So what are we waiting for? Let's get coffee Music Well I'm behind the bar with James Sandoval and he's gonna make us a drink so let's check it out. What are we making today? I'm gonna be making What origin is the espresso? It's gonna be from El Salvador Okay, El Salvador And the farm is called Loma, La Gloria Okay, what ingredients are typically in a cappuccino? It's gonna be about two ounces of espresso and about four ounces of milk And the milk's gonna be steep. You're able to get a bunch of flavor notes in a cappuccino Since it has a little bit less the smoke. It's Okay This espresso smells really good. Oh, yeah. It's got a smokiness to it Wow, that is delicious. That is amazing. All right. I'm here with lifts store manager Taylor May. Thanks so much for having us here today Yeah, we're having a great time And I have a couple questions for you one where did lift get its name lift got its name Honestly, just because our founders were really into Airplanes and the whole area that they were created in they really By the way coffee is amazing Always amazing We offer a pretty much traditional Italian style menu With other variations We have a brew bar as well where we brew single cups of coffee and that changes out every week We'll offer a different coffee from a different location. Okay. We have aero press Khalid away for pour over We also have a seasonal menu that we Will switch out with the season obviously right now. We're in s It's very decadent and very espresso heavy It's gonna be hard not to drink We really put people at the front of our focus. We Love creating an experience right when somebody walks into the door. This is not your typical coffee shop. There's an airplane propeller on the wall our espresso bar is a wing And you see all these weird contraptions that we're making coffee in people ask what are you all about?
