I'm Karla Nolte and we're at Jet Black Coffee Company in Portland, Oregon. Travis Cove. We're at the new location of Jet Black Coffee Company in Concordia. It's been open for a little over six years and how it came about is kind of a long story. Some friends and I were looking for a building to purchase to build rehearsal spaces. We landed on this building and there happened to be an extra space so they gave it to me to do something with and I decided to open a coffee shop. Also, then I asked Karla to be my business partner. We're going to be in a space with our friends that own a vegan grocery store and they wanted vegan businesses there and I'm really stoked on vegan stuff so I was all in on that and very excited to work at another all vegan place. I'm just hoping our space is a comfortable space for everybody and to be able to hang out and community and get to know other people.
