The Black Cat Market is Pittsburgh's first Cat Cafe! Get ready to fall in love with our sweet treats, and even sweeter kitties!
All of our cats are adoptable and come from Humane Animal Rescue in Pittsburgh. You can adopt on site. We will be selling coffee, assorted baked goods (with vegan and gluten-free options), and pet sundries (such as cat treats and cat toys). The cats will have their own separate room that guests can hang out in as well.

My cats Candy, Rusty, and Zorro. They are wonderful cats, and all cats deserve to have a loving home just I am always in support of finding homes for all of the kitties. And my good friend Indigo and her friend Olivia are planning to make that a reality in Pittsburgh. I am sure that many of you are familiar with cat cafes. They are sort of They originated in Japan, I believe, and have been branching out over the United States recently. And my friends want to bring one to Pittsburgh. Cats are known to help relieve anxiety and stress. So why wouldn't you want to hang out and pet and play with a bunch of cats while you're enjoying your coffee or studying or reading a good book? The Cat Cafe, which goes by the name of the Black Cat Market, would be a huge help for the cats as well as people. It will also be an adoption center. So if a cat decides to adopt you while you're there, you can take it home with you that day. So it's a great place to go and meet cats and hang out with cats and drink coffee and do homework and also take home a forever friend that really deserves a loving home.
