Naming a business isn’t easy – just ask anyone who’s tried. After finding a variety of perfect names (that were already taken), one of our founders thought of the Hawaiian word, “kou.” Kou is an old name for Honolulu. “Hui aka n? maka i kou,” means, “The eyes (friends) will meet at Kou.” Kou is also a shady tree that’s a favorite of wood workers who polish its rough bark into a glass-like shine. Finally, kou simply means “your.” So KouWork literally means, “Your work.” With that, KouWork was born. A communal workplace to come together, work smarter and let your big ideas flourish. I love cortados and I get them every single time. Yep, she turned me on to cortados now. Because they look a little pretty. I know, and sometimes they come with sparkling water. That's actually what originally got me. I just Alright, I'm Keemee. I'm Pua. And together we are best life ever. So we co-own best life ever together. And we are a productivity time and energy training company for organizations and individuals looking to create more time and energy for all the things that matter most to them. We also build online courses and platforms for businesses looking to take their content online. So it's a new part of our business that we're super excited about. In our trainings, we suggest that people take control of their schedules, right? The way that we've taken control of our schedule is every day is a little bit different. So because it's our business and we can do whatever schedule we want, we're off on Mondays, Tuesdays we record podcasts, Wednesdays our deep work Wednesday, and Thursdays are kind of our favorite day. Yes, we love co-work Thursdays together and it's a really great opportunity for us to have clients meet us here. We get to brainstorm creatively together. It'something just so magical. We used to work primarily just from home, skyping each other, and now we have this amazing ability to come together, brainstorm right on the walls. It's really magical. Plus the people that come through co-work are just amazing. We've made so many great business connections. We've really evolved our business through working here and the community and the network that just comes through co-work. So it's been a really cool thing for our business. One of our favorite spaces is the Zoom room, and we use that every single week. So we have a membership site, membership platform. Now we have this room that we get to be in with us on the big screen. It's really fun and just cool. It's just cool to be in a Zoom room too. We just love it here. We love brew bar, we love co-work, and we are living our best life ever here. You
