The smell of coffee. I love there just their different flavors. The taste. This is worth coming the opposite direction of going to work to get this coffee and the customer service. Everybody'so nice. They kind of start my day off. Have people filling up DeBene Espresso every morning. That feeling of community that you feel when you come here. Debbie Meyer opened this high point coffee shop almost 23 years ago with the Vista coffee shop. Back in the day there was no coffee in this area. Now you can find coffee on almost every corner, but it's not the same service. You'll get it to be an espresso. Every time you come into the coffee shop that you have a good experience and want to come back. I come as often as I can. Sometimes four times a week. It's that community support that kept Debbie in business at the start of the COVID crisis. She had to close the cafe and could only offer curbside service. A lot of people would walk up or ride their bikes and everybody practiced the social distancing. Close colleges also hurt business. All the students that were here usually would see them every day and then when they left, I mean just immediately it's about a 35% drop. Business is now bouncing back in W's ready to expand. Not under this truth. Instead 19 miles away Winston Salem was on a list as the first happiest city in the country, so that was something that took my focus into Winston Salem. Construction on the new Dubin location started two weeks ago. We're going to try to keep it the as similar as we can to this, but definitely the vibe and the customer service and the happy atmosphere. A place on East Fifth Street in a growing triad city. Businesses open there and they tend to stay so that says a lot where people can sip coffee. I And they're accepted and then it sparks creativity and it makes others happy and it's just contagious.
