Claire Alfrey is on your side, joining us now when Claire, we want to note these shootings all stem from a fight at a liquor store and the story. It has so many layers. That's right, Keith, I'm Brody. Now specifically the initial shooting happened here at NBC, a liquor store on Atlantic Boulevard. That's when the suspect got in a fight with both the store clerk and the owner and that physical altercation turned into the 23 year old man, the suspect shooting the store clerk and then the store owner shooting back, but police did not find the suspect here and said at his home just a half a mile away from the store where shots are fired by his own family member who also lived there towards an off duty officer, his relative and himself while getting aid for his injuries. JSO reports the shooting happened around 11 after an arg And even though the 23 year old male suspect left the store after fighting with the owner and clerk, it was when he came back inside when he pulled out a gun pointed at the store clerk and then the store owner shot back. The store clerk was caught in the crossfire hitting the leg and taken to the hospital where JSO says that he's in stable condition. The suspect was shot multiple times in the neck and other parts of his body yet still was able to drive himself home ahead of the police. The police found him in a car in the middle of the street and he was shot from a half a mile away to the 8000 block of Regal Road, and that's when an off duty auxiliary officer heard the commotion and saw the suspect with multiple gunshot wounds. He started to render aid along with a woman who was related to the suspect and at the same time, a family member who there started shooting at all three of them. Those three people being the relative, the suspect and the police. The suspect was shot in the neck and the police said that he was in the car and that was everyone detained. I say that right now they'really working to get to the bottom of what started this initial fight. Don't have the exact now, according to JSO, they say that the suspect, the man who's 23 years old, even in the neck was taken to the hospital. The reporting that he is in stable condition as far as the other people involved. JSO says they have everyone detained that they believe was involved in both shootings at both locations and they're currently being interviewed downtown here on Atlantic Boulevard, Goliath, first Coast news on your side.
