Hey Ted, this is Brandon. I was told to send this video as your way. Just a couple of tips and tricks here to better position yourself online on Google. Rank you better on Google. So more people see your website, make your business more relevant in the eyes of the public. So three things I go over. Tips and tricks are content on your website. Keywords that go in there. Citations that we're going after. And lastly, backlinks and referring domains. So you're probably wondering why I get this away for free. I know business owners are busy a lot of times hands on in this industry. So if you find yourself in one of those categories and you find out at the end of this at this branding, I kind of knows what he's talking about. Well then I'm here for you to lean on and So first thing we want to look at and the first thing Google actually looks at, So they're looking for at least 1500 words of content on your homepage. So you can see by just adding Inside that content we're going to want to put some keywords. Keywords meaning when people search for things in your industry what are the keywords they're looking for. In this instance we're going to be wanting to put auto repair Madison, Madison auto repair, Auto Service Center, Madison, things So when people are breaking down or looking for something in your industry you're capturing those keywords. Google is going to see that and they're going to say that person's looking for this keywords or in this gentleman's website. We're going to point him in that direction. So and then also if there's a niche that you specialize in whether it's a high dollar best return investment niche put those in your keywords as well. So when people look for that stuff you're the most relevant person that pops up. Hopefully that makes sense. Second thing we talk about is citations. So when we type in things We want to ultimately be in here. All the things I talk about all need to be woven together to get to this you know section on Google but citations is the driving force behind that and what a citation is any place out on the web that you have your business name address phone n So hopefully the citations part of this makes sense. And then the last thing we look at Ted is backlinks and referring domains. I use a program called AREFS and if you want to go get this it's about 500 bucks a month around the program. But in here is a lot of relative relevant information to websites and people and what they got going on. You'll see that you got 228 backlinks and a backlink is simply that anytime on a website you have a link that people can click and it goes back to your website that is a backlink. So Google wants to see these out there on other people's websites they also want to see them on yours links that And ultimately you want these backlinks to be relevant to your industry. So just because you have a bunch of backlinks doesn't mean that they'relevant. Google knows this so don't go putting backlinks out there on McDonald's and Taco Bell and think that's going to be a good thing for you. You can also see and hear that you're generating roughly about 239 organic traffic stops to your website a month. It's not a bad n But what I did was I went and I went back to this search here for auto repair Madison and I didn't grab anybody in the map pack but I did grab the first organic search brick and mortar place on the front page of Google and that was Chet's Care and I plugged him into AORFs and you can kind of see that he's got 464 backlinks. But the big one obviously is the organic traffic. He's bringing in So you know your conversion rates I don't know but I'm ass Obviously at the end of the day being a business owner making money is why you're in business. So hopefully Ted these tips and tricks you can implement them. If you can't obviously that's why I'm here. I would appreciate any feedback whether it's good bad otherwise I'm a big boy I could take constructive criticism but look forward to hearing something back from you. In the meantime you take care.
