Springtime is a good time for checkups of all kinds, including your car. With the price of gas now, you want fuel economy more than ever, but beyond spring, it's feeling like s It's feeling like deep s Everybody's coming by with problems with their cars right now, Chuck? Oh yeah. It was People are hearing the noises as the cars have been making all winter since they've rolled their windows down. Of course, the air conditioning wasn't working in the fall, while now we know it's not working. This is early for you to get those kind of calls, right? Normally, in May, you're not hearing people complaining about their air conditioning. No, no. I actually, a customer commented today, this is August weather. Yeah, it is. Yeah, it truly is. So it could be a long so let's talk about what we need to do right now. So let'say you're hearing these noises or whatever. How booked up are you right now? Right now, I know for my store in East Moline, we're booking into Wednesday of next week our Myland store. You might be a little bit further out. It was just the flip of a switch. Well, let's talk about tires because I know that's one of the main concerns with the heat. So tell us, give us kind of a checklist of what we ought to do. Well, air pressure, air pressure. In age, anything about five years old or older, you're going to want to look at, especially if you're planning a trip. If you want to guarantee problems on the road, go out on the road with a six-year-old tire that's five or 10 pounds under inflated and I promise you, you'll see the shoulder. Okay, yeah, because the tires, especially when the pressure changes and it does, that happens with the fluctuation in outside temperature, right? The weather. Right, right. Because you roll, Okay, and that, again, I just want to remind our viewers, you just said any car with tires older than five years. Five years, okay. Yeah, that's kind of why I'm here. Okay, so from the tires, what do you think is the next check? Your fluids. Your oil. Of course, your coolant is very important. We're starting to see a lot of overheat now. Air conditioning, It's just basic maintenance, so it's just more important than a tato because that's when the damage is done. Well, Chuck, in this video we're showing of your guys at work, there was, a few seconds ago, there was a shot of a car that looks So is that proof positive that you work on all models and years of cars? Pretty much. Okay. Yeah, that was a bit of a project. That was my brother's little project on a mileage. What is the year on that car? I think it was a 47 if I'm not mistaken. Okay, no, wait a minute. I was not around in 1947. I'm just going to say that. I was in the 70s. I was in my dad's year old stuff. Okay, anyway, it looked But the brand new cars, But that can't be that way anymore, much can it? No, no, it's, we're getting to the point where you just about have to have an electrical engineering or computer engineering degree to look at some of this technology that we're seeing, especially now if they continue to push the electric vehicles, it's really going to change the business.
