Safe Haven Thrift Shop is run by a fantastic group of volunteers who accept donations from Monday through Saturday from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
Safe Haven Thrift Shop, a program of Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury, offers a unique shopping experience for treasure hunters on a budget! We feature gently used housewares, clothing, furniture, antiques, curiosities, collectibles, and so much more! The best part is that your purchase or donation goes to help provide free and confidential services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families. Safe Haven provides services in Waterbury and 12 surrounding towns and works in conjunction with other community agencies to provide the best care possible for those who have suffered at the hands of others. Our goal is to help restore hope and help these individuals reclaim their lives. In addition we also work in the community to help raise awareness though education and outreach.
