Pass It On has two locations - Raleigh and Fuquay-Varina - and features a large variety of designer clothing in excellent condition at affordable prices. Pass It On is open to anyone who loves fashion and great prices. 100% of Pass It On’s merchandise is donated and supports InterAct’s programs and services. How It Helps Many victims of domestic violence been forced to leave their homes because of abuse, and arrive at InterAct’s front door with a suitcase. The items you use or have in your own home are the very items needed by the families who come to InterAct to rebuild their lives free from violence. Survivors and their families who receive services at InterAct are able to shop at our Pass It On Thrift Store, at no cost, to help rebuild their lives. My name is Jim Van Dellen. I volunteer here at the Pasadon Thrift Center and I also serve on the board. I've been a volunteer at the Thrift Store since 2020. It was inspiring to me when I came to the store to see the longtime volunteers, their work here at the store, what they were doing to help support the school, the work that they were doing wit Pasadon was founded in 1999 by a group of grandparents who were associated with the school. Their desire was to help parents to be able to continue to afford Christian education. Christian education was important to them, so they decided to come together with the school and help form the store. I'm Grace Youngsma and I've been working here since 2004. And I started here because Betty asked me if I would It's a fun job. Okay, I'm Betty Lerop and I've been working here since 2000. Do you want me to add some levity? I also do the lingerie. Wow. You're gonna miss it. My old body. There you go. Working here is a pleasure. You develop a whole lot of new friends I believe we're being a witness to the community and just the way we operate in the store and with each other and with the customers. My name is Kierry T. I volunteer at the Pasadon Thrift Store. I've been doing it for about six years since my daughter was a freshman and my son is a senior now. Well, I was encouraged to volunteer at the Thrift Store because of the discount and the tuition. The store recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. And after 25 years, it continues its tradition of helping families to afford Christian education. The store wit Working at the Pasadon Thrift Store is a great deal. So if there's anybody out there who can or able and is willing to volunteer at the Thrift Store, it would be an honor. The store has always been 100% volunteer-based. There are no paid employees, people out of love for Christian education come and help at the store. Donations are brought in by the community. And for us, it's amazing to see the amount of quality furniture, clot But to see that quality furniture come in and then to see the customers come in who are in need, benefit from those donations, it really benefits all those parties involved. We could always use more help. It's a great opportunity to honor the legacy of the longtime volunteers who have spent the last 25 years helping to support the school.
