The CARE Center Thrift store supports The CARE Center mission and offers a wide variety of items in good to excellent condition and all at an affordable price. We sell name brand clothing, shoes for men, women and children. We also have many household and sporting goods items. ALL donations accepted during business hours including Recycled leather belts, leather shoes, and leather purses and all stained, mismatched or torn clothing. All recyclable donations must be clean. Here, in the heart of Lake Wales stands the Care Center Dweff Store, an establishment that allows citizens around Lake Wales to not only turn in unused items, but browse through a wide range of wearable repurposed clot I just want to tell you a little bit about what we do here. We accept all donations from our community and then with those donations we're able to turn around and sell them for a very discounted low price to help people. And then with that money then we actually get to give it back to the community. We offer Mills on Wheels, transitional housing, emergency services, anyt We're able to help them in some way. I buy stuff here periodically so I'd It's just a good way to help the community. They do a pretty good business here in Lake Wales. There's a lot of people that support it. Not only does the Care Center Dweff Store emphasize theory of we cycle, reuse, repurpose to promote their business, but as well as giving back to other countries in need. The other stuff, the clothes that we really can't sell or if we have an abundance of stuff then we are able to load it up on a big tractor trailer and we send it to another country that's in need in that time and it's usually Haiti or other different places.
