So we opened Joshua House in 2009 because we realized so many people struggle with addiction, both to drugs and alcohol, and knowing that most programs in Southern California especially are extremely expensive. So we decided to do a free one-year program because we know that a 30 to 60 day or even a 90 day program really isn't not enough to help a man learn how to really walk in freedom and be recovered and healed and well. They live with us for a year. We provide for all their housing, all their care, all their medical needs.
