Tightfisted Fashion provides customers with the ability to consign clothing, shoes and accessories and other items through our retail location. We separate ourselves from other resale businesses because we employ different ways to buy, sell, trade, create, bargain and serve our community. As our name suggests our goal is to keep a “tight fist” on and in fashion. Tightfisted Fashion believes that one can be fashionable, have variety and reflect individuality without spending a lot of money. While fashion is our focus, the tight fist also represents our strength in support of worthy causes and the community. Tightfisted Fashion seeks to build and sustain a network of resources, including but not limited to websites, bloggers, local venues, businesses, artists, other talented individuals, useful products etc. to keep a tight fist on the pulse of the community and its needs. for Coffee With. We have an event called Be More Second Hand, which is a thrifting tour of area, second hand, vintage, resale and consignment boutiques in the area. And basically it's to give an opportunity for the businesses to get some exposure for customers to check out different boutiques around the city, to learn how to thrift, how to shop second hand, and also to encourage people to get second hand pieces because they're one of a kind, they're unique, and also they have a story. So the idea that someone from the 60s or the 40s wore this piece and it'still in really great condition, it kind of connects you to your past, kind of connects you to how things were back then. For example, that really cool cheer that you see over there, that really nice wicker cheer is from the 70s you've seen.
