Located at 618 West 4th St. Winston Salem, North Carolina, the Tattoo Archive was founded in Berkeley, California in 1980 by C. W. Eldridge.
The Tattoo Archive is a working shop which does custom tattooing. It is also home to our Online Store selling tattoo collectibles from around the world, the BookMistress' tattoo books and the Paul Rogers Tattoo Research Center (PRTRC), a nonprofit corporation with the primary goal of preserving tattoo history.

Today to start our presentation we're going to talk about this PT Barn He really wasn'tattooed, but he certainly hired many tattoo attractions and tattooers to work in his side shows through the years. This exhibit here is actually one of the side show banners from the PT Barn They would have the rubber skin man, the sword swallower, the lion face man, the fat lady tattoo attractions and they would be all lined up and you would this would be a part of the admission to the service.
