Advanced Tattoo and Body Piercing was opened in 1977. Originally called World of Tattoos and started by Chuck Daviau, it was the first professional tattoo shop to open in Windsor. Originally located on the east side, World of Tattoos moved downtown in 1990. Since then several well known and respected artists have worked for Advanced, many of them going on to start their own businesses.
I'm Sean Blythe, owner-operator of Vance Tattoo and Body Piercing. It's been open since 1977. I've been here since 1998 as a body piercer. Tattoos, body piercing, anywhere from small tattoos to sleeve tattoos. Right now we're limited to things that don't require us to remove the mask, but other than that we offer everything. Through our Facebook page, Vance Tattoo and Body Piercing, as well as Instagram, Vance Tattoo. Each of the artists have their own personal Instagrams you can also follow.
