I had a lot different approach to tattooing because I didn't serve an apprenticeship so I was just tattooing on my own. All my friends chipped in and bought me a tattoo kit and I just started tattooing everybody. I mean people were I think I tattooed like 18 people in The more I did it or the more I realized that I didn't know that much about it If I was really gonna be serious about it I would need to go to the next level and that would be to get into a studio with someone that was more educated and they could kind of guide me in the right direction artistically and technique wise too. I never wanted to have a boss that was telling me what to do or how to dress or how to wear my hair and it just seemed Coming up with the name for the shop was hell Tried it with a pizza with him. It's hard. Yeah this is the way we chose to do it I only want to hear you say out and it hurts like twice because I know it hurts I want people to be relaxed create the kind of atmosphere that we want to be in And no drama. We might joke around a lot and pick on each other and pick on the customers a little bit. Easy does it. It's nice to go into a shop with its artist run We can give more time and attention I think to our customers. She has a lot of skills that I don't have and I have a lot of skills she doesn't have so it's a good marriage between us. Our exchanges with each other are very open it's in front of the customer all the time because it's better to have two brains on something than one. I think there's more ability to be creative that way. We've bounced off each other a lot It is not that uncommon for me to put gloves on and actually sit down in his chair and tattoo on his customer some part that he doesn't want to do and he's done it for me too. I take a bathroom break he'll come over and start and grab the shader and start working on somebody too. My clients keep me motivated and keep me pushing the envelope so that I can I believe that Robert is definitely a master at tattooing. He seems to make the artwork flow with your body I love being a woman in a man's industry I love it. We're in here talking I see captains telling really nasty jokes I wouldn't have it any other way.
