Alectric City Tattoo

So I'm Ben Rogers, I'm 38 and I'm the owner of Electric City Tattoo in Old Trinidad, Cheshire. If you could tell me what made you want to start tattooing and why? Well, from a young age it was fascinating with tattoos. I have got a lot of uncles and cousins who all had navy tattoos and things I was obviously getting tattooed for a young age, 17, I was quite heavily tattooed from about 21, 22, most of the body was probably covered by them. I had a good friend who owned a studio in Cholton called Sacred Heart, really good reputation, still going to this day, fantastic place. They ended up helping out behind the desk for a short time and then eventually they ended up taking me on and I became obviously his apprentice. That lasted for two years, something about 2007. Then from 2007 I moved on and joined a partnership with a friend of mine and we opened Inkson Tattoo in Timbley and I was there for 10 years, were established for and then obviously now, last year, 2017 I've moved my own place with my own team now to Electric City Tattoo. I'm just a rolling old man. I love it every day. I don't feel It's more Sometimes you like any job, you get work that you love doing and you get work that you just do, do My passion mainly is that I do I try to stay away now from more black and grey like realism because as you work along in your career you realise what you're good at and what you'really good at and in the tattooing industry you don't have that choice, you've got to do what you'really good at, But as long as it'something that I've designed and I've put together, I love doing stuff
