Seventh Son Tattoo

My name is Luke Stewart. I'm a co-owner of Seven Sun Tattoo in San Francisco. I've been tattooing for coming up on 14 years, all in the Bay Area. I got started tattooing, I mean whatever I get my hands on. I would say Just fell in love with the elegance of Japanese tattoos and really just tried to achieve that and always striving to make my tattoos fit the body and kind of understanding the formula for Japanese tattoos. I think, It just looks It's a never-ending process of drawing, putting tattoos on people that you like and then a year later you say oh I should have done this differently or it doesn't fit the way I'd like and you realize how involved it really is to design a tattoo that really fits the h That's what separates Japanese tattoos from other tattoos especially like American traditional which is There's a lot more involved in the process of deciding what the design is for the client, what the right design is for the client and then you get into what everything means and I think it's really interesting for the clients too it's cool to learn about the stories, the folklore, understanding what it is that they're getting and why certain elements are involved with the piece. you
