New York Hardcore Tattoos is a landmark in the heart of the lower east side of New York City. Founded by Hardcore legend, Vinnie Stigma in 1999.
Established in 1999. NYHC Tattoo is the brainchild of two of the most influential Lower East Side musicians. Vinnie Stigma of Agnostic Front and Jimmy Gestapo of Murphys Law. This legendary landmark opened in 1999 and has been a staple in the hardcore community for over 10 years. In early 2010 Jimmy and Vinnie added three new partners to the mix. Lars Frederiksen of the punk band Rancid, along with Albany icons, Mike Valente and Tragedy. The new owners Nick Caruso and Mike Maney have renovated the shop in 2016 and are running it along with Mark Harada, shop manager, Sweety, Miykey and Jeremy Miller. Plus friends and various guest artist from around the globe.
