At The Atlas Tattoo Co you can bring in your own artwork or have us custom design your tattoo. Custom drawings require a minimum of 10 business days to prepare. Owner Devin Sheehy has been tattooing since 1995 and works in many styles of tattooing along side of Amanda Varney, a relative new comer to the industry but highly competent and talented at her trade. We also offer basic & advanced body piercing, and microdermal Implants. Our piercer, Zoe, has 13 years experience as a professional piercer and uses only implant grade internally threaded piercing jewelry in our piercings. Please feel free to contact us via phone, email, or Facebook messenger. In order to allow our artists to enjoy their time off with their families, messages will be answered during business hours ONLY. Please allow one business day in order to receive an answer to any inquiries. We have tattoo artists and piercers available Monday through Saturday. General Policies: Photo identification is required for all tattoos and piercings. We must have your photo ID every time that you come in. We tattoo ages 16 and up with proper identification. We pierce ages 6 weeks and up with proper identification. Most of our piercings have minimum age limits. Please check our piercing page for more information. For tattooing or piercing minors we require the following: A parent must accompany the minor; Parent must have a valid photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport); birth certificate for the minor; ID for the child (social security card, temps, driver’s license, passport, Street Smarts card, or school ID); if the adult bringing the minor in for a piercing or tattoo isn’t the parent listed on the birth certificate, then court issued custody or guardianship paperwork is required for the minor. Because of the risk of exposure to bodily fluids, only 1 support person is allowed to accompany the client into the procedure area. Support people must be at least 16 years old. Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis with the artist or piercer. Per the board of health, no one under 11 is allowed in the procedure area unless they are being pierced. No infants or toddlers are allowed past the lobby. Do not allow your child to wander or be unsupervised. If we observe your child unattended, you will be asked to take them outside of the shop. No food or drink in the procedure area, except a bottle of water with a lid. Clients must remain in the lobby. Board of Health regulations require that you be accompanied in the procedure rooms. Your artist or piercer will escort you back to the procedure area when they are ready for you. Therefore, you are not allowed to walk back to the procedure areas without either a piercer or tattoo artist. The only exception is if you are walking back to the rest room. After using the rest room, please return to the lobby or the procedure area. Clients and their support people must remain in the procedure area during tattooing or piercing. The fire code does not allow loitering in the hallway or the area in front of the rest room. Only artists and piercers are permitted in the office, storage room, and drawing station. Our artists and piercers are independent contractors who are self-employed. Therefore, pricing from one artist may not be honored by another artist if you change artists. Your original artist is responsible for all touch ups within the 90 day touch up period. We do not do free touch ups past 90 days of the original tattoo. Because we cannot control the aftercare of piercings, there is no guarantee on piercings and we are not responsible for lost jewelry. Tattoo Appointments Arrive on time for your appointment.
