Outer Limits Tattoo Long Beach

I can't work. . . So this shop was once one of 12 tattoo shops in the Long Beach area down here in the once known as the Pike area. The Pike was So the Navy used to come here all the time to share in those good times. It's interesting because when I first took the shop over I didn'think much of it except for the fact that I was trying to save some history, the building itself. And then a lot of me, more mature tattoo artists came to me and they said, I don't know if you're aware of what's on your shoulders. How many people came out of that shop and how important it is that you save the shop. And at that point is when it started to sink in and I started to realize the importance of that and the other artists who did work and learned and came out of the shop and what they've become now. It's quite a fantastic thing to be able to continue to carry on the legacy of Bert Grimm's World Famous Tattoo. I'm the tattooer in general of the Pike because there were so many great shops here in the area and I've been very lucky to be able to currently hold the last remaining tattoo shop in this area.
