Kathleen Langley is a pioneer in the body piercing industry. Since getting her initial training back in 1993, she has consistently worked as a piercer and owned piercing businesses. She is the first to develop and try new techniques in the methods of performing piercings and how to care for them. Her easy-going nature allows first-timers a relaxing, positive experience. Mothers love her because of her knowledge, attention to detail, and way of explaining what she is doing and why. Born and raised in San Bernardino, Russell Fortier brings a solid black and grey, southern California style to his tattoos. His straight ahead, no nonsense approach creates amazing body art. Classic script and evil skulls are some of his stand out, one of a kind creations. He is always glad to whip up something unique to satisfy your taste for the dark side. While attending University of California at Davis, Kindra was one of Lucky 7's best piercing customers. Always loyal, she waited until she had breaks from school to come get her piercings and tattoos in Tahoe. Now, having graduated, Kindra decided to join the Lucky 7 family and train to become a piercer herself. Since 2009 she has trained to become Kathleen's "chip off the old block." Kindra's positive attitude and "book learning smarts" are a great addition to the L7T2 crew. Chris has been a loyal Lucky 7 Client since she was a teenager. Her own passion for getting pierced developed into an enthusiasm for learning to pierce and about the industry. She is always eager to learn and appreciates all the chances she gets. At the same time, she applies the knowledge she has gained (mixed with her love of tattoos and piercings) to help our clients as the assistant manager, by guiding them through the process and answering any questions they have.

Lucky 7 is different because we have Rockstar tattoos without the Rockstar attitude. I opened my shop back in 2001 after coming from the Sacramento area and working for a few of the premier shops down there. My business partner and I decided we really had a different way to go about running a tattoo shop, making it more approachable, more about making people at ease and giving them a little bit of an education as to what works for a tattoo, and taking people from walking in the door and knowing nothing, to making them connoisseurs and really appreciating what can be done and what can't be done with tattooing. Our piercing, it's not just an add-on to the tattooing, it's a major part of the business. I really You meet a lot of very different people, all getting tattoos and piercings for different reasons. The vibe of the shop is good, shops clean. Customers return to Lucky 7 because of having a really positive experience. We're a family-owned business in beautiful Northlake Tahoe, California, so we really do care about everything that walks out the door.
