Focusing on tattoos that last a lifetime and ignoring current tattoo trends that do not stand the test of time.

While some businesses in St. Joseph saw setbacks from the COVID-19 pandemic, some not only saw growth but are seeing continued growth throughout these uncertain times. Our Reed Gregory tells us more. Having a clean and stable work environment is always a priority in a tattoo parlor, and an independent tattoo company here in St. Joseph, it was taken to a new level in the year 2020. Although most businesses saw setbacks during the pandemic, independent has been booming with business despite having to follow COVID-19 protocols. I feel With the influx of stimulus checks hitting people's bank accounts throughout the year, independent maintained a steady book of business, and the phone won't stop ringing off the hook. New customers If you ask anyone around here, there is no doubt a universal tone. Business has gone up. Overall, it's definitely gone up. As soon as we got back from shutdown, we've had nothing, but great business, people steadily coming in. I think we're more booked up now than we ever have been. The artists here at Independent Tattoo don't exactly know how long the mask mandate may stick around their shop, but are offering some words of wisdom for those inquiring about a new tattoo. One is to stay clean. Two, do your research, and three, get ready for the sting of that needle. Reporting for Newspress Now, I'm Reed Gregory. Reed, thank you very much.
