Tattoo & Piercing after care
Tattoo after care : DO : 1. Always wash your hands with antibacterial soap before caring for tattoo site. 2. Keep covered with gauze for the first hour. Carefully remove bandage and gently wash with antibacterial soap and rinse. Loosely re-bandage ONLY IF the tattoo will be exposed to a dirty environment or an abrasive surface (such as light clothing , shoes, and bed linens.) Otherwise, leave uncovered and wear loose clothing over tattoo site. 3. When drying, use paper towel and pat dry or air dry. DO NOT RUB. DO NOT USE CLOTH TOWELS. 4. Apply a very thin layer of A&D ointment to the site 3 times per day (or as needed) for 4 days. DO NOT: 1. Pick, scratch, or wipe the site. You might experience skin peeling or itching as the site heals but do not peel or scratch the site. 2. Allow others to touch the site. 3. Immerse in water such as soaking in a bathtub hot tub and swimming. Do not allow wet clothing to cling to the site. 4. Expose Tattoo to sun or tanning booth
