After having my own boys and seeing them grow up, I really wanted to capture families and I wanted them to have those memories and those moments in time. When at all possible when the weather permits, I love to shoot outside. For my newborn pictures as well as some belly pictures, which are pregnancy pictures, I do in my studio. I have a little home studio where we can fit about four to five people. I have a vendor in Ontario and she sends repurposed clothes. They make little overalls and pants and little dresses and headbands. Something timeless that's not too over the top. Anything for your newborn little baby to feel comfortable and warm. I think during his cake smash. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The cake was up, I think we envisioned that he would kind of walk towards it. He would walk into the time and grab it and do his thing. Owen had different plans in mind. He got to knock the chair over and the cake flew. And so Janine got a few shots of that, put the cake on the ground and Owen sat down and kind of head first. That's one of those things that we love is that she just goes with the flow. We want to capture the moments. That was a lot of fun. At the beginning of your shoot, you may feel a little awkward. It feels kind of weird to be in front of the camera. Every year I do it with my family and so I know exactly that feeling, but there is a point in the photo shoot where it just becomes natural and you realize that this is your family and you're here making memories with them. And so that's really important for me to find that sweet spot. They make it fun. We're always relaxed. They just kind of make us so welcome and the kids love them. You
