My name is Scott Weisbecker. We're here at 8cents Tattoo in Col We've been here for three years. It's been good three years. We've just celebrated our third anniversary. We've been tattooing most of us here for over five years. But something I'd always wanted to do coming up as a kid. I used to draw a lot. It's a very hard industry to get your foot in the door. I met a friend through a friend that owned a shop up in Charlotte, North Carolina, which is where I started. One thing led to another, I've been tattooing since the end of 2004. Before it was our shop, we both worked here. Luckily we had the opportunity to buy it, which we did and have been here ever since. We've been doing great. Well, we're best known for having a good time here. Everybody that does come back and tells their friends every time we have a return customer, a new customer that's been referred to us to everybody says we just have a good time. We're very relaxed. There's no drama here. The most annoying thing is going to be the music. We're all very versatile in what we do as far as art goes. Everybody that we have working here, we're all extremely good artists. We've got portrait artists all the way to traditional artists. It's important to us to maintain versatility so we can help everybody. We are a custom shop. We pretty much draw up everything that we do to ensure that they get a unique piece that we're not going to put on anybody else. That way you're not having to walk around with a tattoo that 10,000 other people have. Usually it means a little bit more. It's more fun for us. No matter how big or small, we take it all very seriously. All our needles are pre-packaged, pre-steralized. All our tubes get sterilized. We have a good rapport with DHEC Health Department here.
