If you haven't got problems I feel bad for your son I got 99 problems and a bitch ain't one Bobbyshop is in the heart of the North End, in the middle of Boston I've been cutting hair since I was 13 years old I started off in the basement of my family's building and it just evolved from there The relationships that you form over time with customers that come in here for a long time is really cool A lot of people call this a one-stop shop We got matchless haircuts, the best haircuts in the city We have the old school shaves where you get a hot towel you get free shave oil on top of that then the old school shave and then the aftershave Come to the back we have a full service cafe iced coffee, cappuccino, espresso and recently I added tattoos to the shop It's the first tattoo poler in the history of the neighborhood I went far, it took 3. 5 years, but we got it and people are loving it From the short time we've been open, I've been attracting celebrities as far as Milan Lucci and we did Chris Kelly from the Boston Bruins a couple weeks ago The Beacon Hills Shop Didn't necessarily come up for sale but it was a place that I've been watching for a while and the guy in there was kind of on his last leg the place was dead, he was falling apart We had an hour and a half meeting down the basement of his shop It wasn't even for sale when I got there but when I left, that was the owner of the shop So Immediately just ripped the whole place apart started off from scratch because I wanted the design to match the shop When you walk in there, I want you to know that it's connected to the shop 110% When you walk in there, you know I'm the owner of that shop also because you can see the same vibe that it has The location you can't beat, it's right across the street from the state house right behind you is Suffolk University, the court house It's a residential neighborhood Again, it's a historic neighborhood also So as far as every aspect of both shops they both mesh well together You can tell they're tied The shop in Beacon Hill has been a barber shop since 1927 So there's been generations and generations of barbers in there Robert Kennedy, John Kennedy and Tenk Kennedy all had one floor right above the barber shop So I like to say he was a patron of the shop but I'm ass So there's a lot of history over there also People talk about being a barber, it's Yeah, that's one thing, but that's like 15% of what the job is making people feel comfortable in your chair, knowing what they want Creating a relationship with them where they have trust in you They know that you're going to do a great job Everybody who comes in here is going to feel 10 times better when they leave So that's part of what I like about what I do because I know everybody that leaves here feels better I'making their day, Better bet you ain't one
