I'mark Sudonka, GSG and What we're going to do today is we're going to go over all the head functions of the M&R Global Copperhead Rival Press. If you're familiar with M&R Presses or any automatic press in general, The M&R Global Copperhead Rival is really no different than any other M&R machine when it comes to the functionality of the print head. On our print head we have of course our flood speed and our squeegee speed. That's going to control the rate of speed from front to back or back to front of the flood bar and the squeegee. Print head has an individual squeegee pressure gauge on it meaning you can control your squeegee pressure with just a turn of the knob starting at zero all the way up to about 70 psi. You also have your front and your rear locks for your screen holders so they're pne As we move on to the front of the controls you have your pressure gauge You have your flood and your squeegee speed then you have your print head. This is going to be up and down. You want to lower your print head you simply press the button it's going to bring the print head down hit it again it's going to raise it up. Now if you want to do a test print on this head you simply hit print it's going to flood my screen make sure my pressure is fine add a good flood. Now I lower my print head I hit print and I go ahead and do my print stroke. When I'm finished put the head back up. The next two buttons over are our palette indexer meaning if I want to move my pallets to the left or to the right I simply hold the button down and it's going to slowly move my pallet to the next print head. Once I'm underneath the print head I simply hit head and it's going to home and center that pallet right under your desired print head. The center button on the print head is labeled stop. The stop button functions as an emergency stop. If you're running this press in auto mode and you hit the stop button it's going to stop the machine. A really cool feature of the stop button is when you're in manual mode and you're setting up if you press and hold the stop button it's actually going to activate your flash. The next button that's on the print head is the call button. So whatever pallet you're working with to register your job or you just want to look at that shirt on the pallet you simply hit the call button and it's going to bring you that pallet right back in front of you so you can take a look at it inspect it and make any changes you may have to. Next on the print head is going to be our micro registration. The micro registration simply has two unlock knobs underneath. You loosen those and then you can turn your left up and down your right up and down or to go left and right. And on the top of the screen holder you have these little windows here that have a really nice registration mark that have a little red arrow. So whenever you move your micros that arrow is going to move and they're actually turn a knob and also is really nice to move it back to zero. So we've lifted our print head to show you the off contact. So you have an off contract control on each side left in the right of the machine. You have a small gauge that's going to tell you how much off contact you have. You have the same in the front and you have it in the rear of the machine also. So as we saw our front micro registration we also have it on the rear. The rear knob is simply going to move the screen holder left to right or right to left. Okay moving on to the squeegee flood bar carriage. You can see we put our squeegee on the front. Our flood bar is in the rear. And if we loosen the handles on the side you can see right here etched into the metal is actually the degree of angle. So Comes in real handy if you're doing a repeated job and you doc Slightly different than other M&R presses are going to be your squeegee and your flood bar. To mount your squeegee and flood bar you simply take your flood bar, slide it into the channel, pull the pin, lock it in place and we'll do the same with the squeegee. And there we have our squeegee and flood bar held into place on the print carriage. So there you have all the features and specifications of the M&R Global Copperhead Rival Press. Join us next week where we're going to set up a five color job with an under base, do some flashing. We're going to show how to use the tri lock, how it's completely compatible, do our squeegees and flood bars, pick a few different durometers and actually see this press in action.
