New tonight, a local grocery store will be changing ownership in the new year. The owners of the Calandro'supermarket announced that their location on the corner of Perkins Road and Segan is being sold. That location will soon become another family-owned store called Oak Point Fresh Market. Oak Point currently has local stores in Watson and Central. Calandro's original location on Government Street is not being sold. Now Oak Point says they are working with Calandros to provide job opportunities to staff at the Perkins location.
